I help business blokes just like you navigate the challenges of running a business.
I am a business owner and a husband in a blended family. I am Father of 2 and a Stepfather of 2. Over the years I have been presented with many personal and business challenges that I have had to overcome on my own as I have always had a tough time finding business groups where there were members faces similar challenges as me. There were always opportunities and options for my wife, but I am still seeking a community of business owners like me where I can make social and business connections, learn, get and give advice. Unfortunately, there are not many groups around for middle aged men, so rather than continue looking I am going to build my own.
I am a CPA who has been working with business owners in multiple capacities for well over two decades. After commencing my career as an Accountant and Business Adviser, my own national start-up won numerous business awards and was featured in BRW fast 100. Since the business sold, I have been working with small-medium business owners helping them with business growth strategies and holistic business coaching.
I am also owner of two of my own businesses. Best Practice SMSF provides Practical SMSF Guides, checklists and Templates to SMSF Trustees to make their journey to retirement simpler. Lifetime SMSF provides specialist SMSF Accounting and Taxation services across Australia. You can hear me talking about all things small business as co-host of The Australian Small Business Show Podcast.
What I give you as your Adviser, coach and mentor is a broad range of skills and experience developed from the lessons I have learned from challenges that you are dealing with right now. I am now using these lessons to help others take on the challenges that come with being a business owner, father and a husband.
